Objective

Translate the broad Communication Engineering mission into the first bounded, testable research project without falsely claiming exhaustive completion.

Starting state

Searched for direct empirical plain-language effects and found both a large effect and a null-compatible effect within one trial. Considered high-stakes instructions but rejected them for the first pilot because safety and domain expertise would dominate feasibility.

Failures and dead ends
